Tutira Hawk 2

Also known as the Australasian Harrier, Kāhu, Harrier Hawk, Marsh Harrier, Swamp Harrier, or Swamp-hawk.  Fossil records show that it came across the Tasman Sea from Australia, and became established in New Zealand less than 1,000 years ago.

We happen to catch it feeding on a rabbit on our 1.3150 hectares (3.25 acres).
