Due to the delay because The Kitset Company Ltd. Trading as Highmark Homes Hawkes Bay was placed into liquidation……the change in The Resource Management Act 1991 (requires the approval of all legal owners and occupiers of an affected property within 15 metres of a land-use proposal to grant written consent)……causing us to build during Autumn/Winter in the rain……slowing the pace of the project……the 11 windows and French doors debacle……Oak Construction Ltd. threw a “Hail Mary” pass (the Shadowclad Prime Groove (cladding) technically made the house watertight)……this did not meet the requirements of the Hastings District Council’s inspection.
