Dr. Michael Lintott BVSc MACVSc (our veterinarian) advised us to drive Xander to Massey University in Palmerston North on Thursday, 5th August to have specialist Richard Kuipers von Lande BVSC, CertVR, CertSAS, MRCVS, MACVSc physically look at his rear right limb ~ talk to us about the cytology & culture sample of the fluid buildup and x-rays.

Dr. Kuipers von Lande conducted more cytology and culture sample tests to answer the question if Xander has any infections, he did not, and on Monday, 9th August Xander had his fourth operation: Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy. It involves changing the angle of the top of the shin bone (the tibial plateau) by cutting the bone, rotating it, and stabilizing it in a new position with a plate and screws.
