Xander’s 15cm incision became swollen due to fluid buildup. Our veterinarian decided to send the fluid to be analyzed. Xander contracted Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, a common bacterium that thrives on most surfaces, this bacterium is also found on and in medical equipment.  The bacterium is 99.9% killed off now. It still become swollen due to Synovial fluid buildup (which required weekly aspiration).
