Located near the stunning elevated building site providing lake views and seclusion on our 1.3150 hectares (3.25 acres), is a windbreak planted by Mr. Weichbrodt. It required a wee bit of thinning out. A second social call by Mike Fisher of Napier Property Services was paid in August 2009.

Three introduced plant species to New Zealand, Blackberry ~ Japanese Honeysuckle ~ Scotch Thistle are classified as “invasive” and we are required to eradicate them. July 2009 we hired Mike Fisher of Napier Property Services who arrived with his squad accoutered with spades - hoes – shovels - trowels – chainsaws – herbicides to extirpate these meddlesome weeds on our 1.3150 hectares (3.25 acres).
